Safe Dating
Online dating and live-chat platforms can be enjoyable, but they also attract scams and unsafe behavior. Use this checklist before you share personal information or send money.
1. Stay on the platform
Be cautious if someone immediately asks you to move to WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or a private site you do not recognize. Predators and scammers often try to pull conversations off-platform.
2. Never send money or gift cards
Do not wire money, buy crypto, or send gift cards to someone you met online. Romance-scam and “emergency” stories are common. No legitimate date requires prepaid cards.
3. Protect your identity
Do not share your full name, workplace, home address, ID photos, or financial details. Use a unique password and enable two-factor authentication on any account you create.
4. Video and photo requests
Think before you send intimate images. Once shared, you cannot control them. Anyone can use a fake or generated photo. Ask for a live video before you trust a profile.
5. Meeting in person
If you meet someone, choose a public place, tell a friend where you are going, arrange your own transport, and do not leave drinks unattended. Leave if you feel pressured.
6. Report and block
Block users who request money, threaten you, or send illegal content. Report them to the destination platform and, if needed, to local authorities.
7. Adult-only reminder
This site and partner platforms are for adults only. If you see child sexual abuse material, leave immediately and report it to the platform and to the appropriate hotline in your country.
